Thats the problem with teenager, unko lagta hai saab chutiye hai, I was been there btw.
Its just totally wrong to teenagers and 20-25 year olds have any opinions, they are so naive and stupid to just explore whatever outside.
BTW who told you India has majority of its population living in poverty?
And also we are not over populated, population is not issue in india. We hit the 2.0 mark and we revolving around 2.0 so why bother with population? Gas chamber banane hai apko?
Activism ka kidda shant kaarro, bade hai yaha pei 140 crore ki population ko dharna dene ki need nahi hai.
And BTW Hindu muslim ki baat to hogi hi, jaab taak Justice nahi hota. Bada asan hai bolna waha masjid ke niche mandir uske niche mandir. Apke papa ji zameen hai kya? Mere Bhagwan ki hai.

People who went from rags to richest how did you do it??
Net worth - in the ballpark of 1+ million. My journey :
Grew up in small town ( population 10,000), studied in hindi medium schools/govt school in the town until 10th standard and did higher secondary from a decent school in Indore. Somehow managed to get into engineering with computer science in 2001 when dot com bubble was still looming onto the industry, got into a very average college - finished my degree and got into the workforce.
Started career with very small company in Indore itself, followed by working for big 4, fortune 500 in India itself.. was not doing great financially but was better. I still remember, when my first pay cheque came - my family was desperate as we did not had any money left to buy even groceries. For first couple of years of my career, I did not even owned a cell phone, and using public transport to get to work even though I was making decent money but was focused more clearing debt of the family, getting one of the elder sister married etc.
Things turned around, when I managed to travel for work to US - and did not look back. I primarily focused on working for big 4 or with a reputable companies - no gimmicks of working for desi consultancy or body shoppers. That helped me grow tremendously as what I did not learn from family/college etc., I learnt it by observing folks around me on how they operate, how they react, how they communicate etc. Helped me position myself in the right place at the right time.
How I managed to get to net worth, well, partly luck and partly working for good employers and some lucky investments. Bought house pre covid here in US, paid it off and it appreciated, got into the second house - paying its mortgage with rental income of the first house. Now focusing on building a decent investment portfolio. Career wise, I am not as aggressive as I used to be, as now I have young kids and need to focus on them more but I am happy when I look back. Where I started from and how far I have managed to come along.. its satisfying. Am I doing everything I think of? Answer would be no. Should I be pushing more harder ? And its always yes.
Generally dont write about my path, dont talk about it but here I am sipping my coffee, just turned 40 few months back and was reflecting on my journey.. and saw this question in my feed. Hope it inspires someone someday here. -

Bengaluru software engineer loses whopping Rs 11.8 crore to ‘digital arrest’ scam | Bangalore News - The Indian Express
There are a lot of such scams happening EVERY SINGLE DAY in Bangalore and as a social worker, I keep coming across them. I have personally written over two dozen police complaints for exactly the same scam that happened with this person.
The criminals bank on people's absolute FEAR of law enforcement authorities. It's not even respect, it's fear, and it's largely baseless.
It happens because most people have no idea what the police actually does, what's legal and what's illegal, what the police is empowered to do and what it absolutely under any circumstances cannot do... there's just 100% cluelessness when it comes to the law and this is what gives these scammers the advantage.
If the scammer simply threatens that your career will be "ruined" because of this "case", or you won't be able to go abroad... most people will immediately get ready to do whatever it is that they can to avoid the situation. Any amount of bribery, any amount of money, anything just to not have to face these consequences.
Hell, we've even had people back out of filing their own FIRs for cases because some police officer made them afraid of the fact that they might not get a Visa if they file their own FIR as the victim of the crime. It literally happened today at the JP Police Station with someone we were helping. Completely FREAKED the poor victim out and she completely backed out of filing her own FIR.
Basics of Indian law should be a subject in high school and at university levels in India. It rewards a lot of people to keep the larger population ignorant of law. This has to change.
The legalese (legal language) is complicated to ensure that people find themselves confused if they even attempt to self-study, and so many different remedies and solutions to common problems in the legal system are (it almost seems on purpose) kept obscure from the people.
In 2025, one of my main goals is to start absolutely free-of-cost legal seminars all over Bengaluru in Kannada and English so that people from all parts of the society can actually learn to not be scared unnecessarily. Whatever it takes, I'll do it.
The police don't even file FIRs in most such cases without persuasion... something I deal with daily. However, despite doing an FIR here, the police STILL DID NOT FILE IT UNDER THE STRONGEST SECTION which is BNS 204 (Personating a Public Servant).
I don't know what else do they need to register the FIR under this section when the criminals were clearly impersonating law enforcement officials.
They probably also shared a lot of forged documents which would attract forgery charges. None seem to have applied. Just good old' cheating and cheating by personation. This is like filing an FIR for simple assault when someone has been robbed and looted.
As far as the recovery goes, if the individual had filed the cyber crime complaint quickly (he didn't since the crime went on for 18 days), he would have had a shot at recovering the money easier. Now it's up to the investigation.
Hoping for the best for this unfortunate victim... and I hope he pushes the authorities to add stronger charges too. Sigh. -

We need something private to put an end to these "chapri rog" to the core. And these people have no work to do just loitering shamelessly, picking up fights at any moment and what not.

Weekly Career Discussion Thread (23 Dec 2024)
Hello, I am a third year Aerospace Engineering student in the UK. I am experiencing what every other final year is experiencing and I'm struggling to make headway in securing a job, due to this I have decided to do a masters in order to strengthen my cv in the event I don't secure a role upon graduation. My question is asking whether a MSc on Engineering Management is looked upon as useful or attractive by engineers in industry? I only ask as it seems interesting and useful to me but I wonder if it's looked upon as a waste of time and won't strengthen my future applications due to the lack of engineering technical knowledge taught, the last thing I want to do is spend thousands of pounds and a year of my time for something that will not give me an edge over other applicants. -
