I too run an e-commerce for clothing 90% orders are COD with 16% RTO precovid post Covid my RTO has reached 34%

I have even called up the customers asking the reason but have got really silly replies from was bored so ordered to dont have any kids in the house who can wear the product (bhai why did order in the first place) ordered to ordered by mistake.


once goods are accepted then the RTO is very low 2% but people who order and dont accept delivery is a major issue.

I would love to know what RTO does flipkart and amazon have.


But it does hurt when you spending so much on marketing and you think you have got decent orders only to see the following month you have just broken even or made a loss thanks to the RTO.
