Jaipur isn't worth 5 days.You can cover it in 3 days.Instead try Abhaneri(World's largest Stepwell) and Pushkar on the 4th day. You can easily cover Jodhpur on the 5th day.Day 6 to 8 you can visit Jaisalmer and Longewala.On 9th day you can see Kumbhalgarh and on 10th try Chittorgarh.Day 11 to 12 to be reserved for Udaipur.

With this itinerary, you will cover the major cities and landmarks of Rajasthan.I followed the same minus Kumbhalgarh and Jaisalmer

For Jaipur, on day 1 you can visit the temples and Garden
Day 2- Jantar mantar,City palace,Isarlot, Hawa Mahal and Albert hall museum
Day 3-Amer fort,Nahargarh(Must visit sunset), Jaigarh and Panna meena ka kund

why I targeted Gujrat and Maharastra is because the central Gov. took a astronomical amount as loan to build a bullet train from Ahmedabad to Mumbai which has lower traffic(Road/trains/flights) and flight fare than Delhi/Mumbai to Patna but the real anger is not that Gujrat is getting developed but because Bihari make up 10% of population and similarly 10% of that debt lies on us but what did Bihar get, we were protesting for a few passenger trains only but never got any thing instead the sleeper coaches were also reduced by two in every train and you might support me when I say that the local trains' condition is the worst in Bihar. The avg. vehicle speed on roads in Bihar is foking 20KMPH. { "American roads are not good because America is rich, but America is rich because American roads are good," US President John F Kennedy once said famously.}
