More seriously, if you've been trading full-time and couldn't be profitable past a reasonable timeframe - usually 9 months to a year - you would be dropped off at the prop house I worked out.
Not everyone should be a trader, and some turned out great quants or analysts at the same prop firm, though. But there is a point where you need to cut your losses and explore other opportunities.
