I don’t understand why Meiteis and Assamese people get so much hate. Specially Assamese people. This guy wrote “Meitei’s brainwashed by mainlanders” what does it suppose to mean? It’s like saying Mizo’s were brainwashed by Europeans into following Christianity. Meitei’s have their own culture and traditions which is totally different from mainland India. They follow Sanamahism. Same goes for the Assamese people. They have their own culture and traditions it is totally different from mainland India. Assamese people were here since the rule of Ahom empire. It’s not like they came here recently and dominated the whole state. Illegal immigration is a big issue in Northeast.
