Women at home are always more spiritual than men. Btw there is a whole branch of Tantra called Stree Tantra which is only done by women. There are many women sadhikas but they remain hidden. You will not find them in public.

Imo, There could be 2 reasons
1. Plain simple no bs he had other commitments and clashed with his schedule.
