Worked in insurance, not health, but property/casualty. Adjusting claims was basically me taking off some key things that the contractors needed to do the job right. They train you to see these as “unnecessary expenses” and turn the Adjuster into a good solider for the company. After denying a claim for a woman who paid her premiums for 20 years and never filed a claim, even when should have, due to “pre-existing damage” I was done. Never going back.

This happened recently in Madurai Tamilnadu. A SC boy 25yr married a Devar community girl BC 23yr. The girl's family kidnapped her and beat her up and locked her up in her room. Then the girl's family hired community goons to kidnap the guy. They kidnapped him, tortured him and killed him by violently hacking him to death with 'aruval' (sickle shaped sword). Happens all the time in Tier 2 cities and villages. Sometimes they burn them both alive together 😞

You can file a grievance with airsewa with specific details of the harassment and names of officers involved. While I understand the frustration with officers, passengers can also improve in many aspects. Blatant misuse of airport facilities and disregard for queuing among the passengers is a big nuisance in Indian airports (especially Trichy and coimbatore)
