Oru metro alley choikunne
Haha that a nice meme man
(Guys please read full)
I'm working here as a temporary post and will leave tvm in 6 months.
I'm living pg just a little far away from the office.
Also the place where I'm living the bus connectivity is significantly low only a few buses come that area.. sometimes it will come based on time... Bus will not come in my area an hour or 2 before starting work time.. so I have to call my pg mate who has bike drops me at office or spend more than 100 using auto
So metro is needed man...
People from non Trivandrum like me will understand
Even my co-workers who are from Neyanttikkara come home to the office every day...
He came with his bike everyday and he said it is very challenging for him .. his home is far away from the railway station nearby
You will realise one day man one day how metro or at least a team(not suitable in TVM cause no space needed little bit on prime locations) or underground metro which can change tvm commuters easily accessible
For more than 25 years these guys have been studying the metro as the locals said.
Kochi got ready 1 year after studying and got metro approval immediately....
Similar to airport, which is also ignored by govt and it started healing good but takes a lot of time to become a Good airport
TVM il central railway station il auto and bus pidkan vendi Nala thiraku aanu.. if metro comes this will take less time.
You will know...
Commuters vendi Nala transportation venam
Widening the roads increases traffic although the roads are congested....
The increasing bus service is great but adding both is a life Changer.
People will travel both
Metro and bus connectivity is great
Underground metro is good if not elevated
I have spent my entire life(more than 23 years there in kochi) and metro helped me and my family work and college on time
I mean the people who study there become a life line when the metro comes.. you can visit the railway station in less than 15 mins...
When I was studying college many of my classmates who are from another district came here to study and during weekends or holidays the metro became a lifeline for them ...
Also if you say buy rent bike or second hand bike, actually I'm saving that money to buy a new bike and a some investments
When I came here 7 months ago I thought tvm is like dystopian world.. ngl even people in my area said like this.. a day before coming to Trivandrum many of the friends in my locality saying don't go Trivandrum, people are rude...food is bad and many more... Due to this I thought tvm is like that even the online you see hates in tvm
But after a month living this I started liking the city.....
Visited many places in TVM with my co-workers.. every week we visit new places.
Also the people that I met are nice people except gunda auto drivers
Food is good if you go to a great restaurant and hygienic
Also will miss TVM after I left..
The place has great potential for grow... -
Which is the best tier 2 city to settle down in India?
Tier 2 cities are no less filled with traffic and pollution. Unless you're one of the lucky few to have a house in the old city, you'll find the same peak hour traffic and suburban sprawl.
I frequently visit Coimbatore and Kochi as they are the largest cities near my parents' hometowns. Kochi IT park has made the Vaikom road living hell. Reaching Aluva and Thrippunithura from Kochi, or anywhere else in Ernakulam district for that matter, is maddening. You'll be stuck in traffic for hours at rush hour - worse than Bangalore because you're technically on a state or national highway.
Coimbatore is marginally better because there is horizontal expansions since it is not bound by the Arabian Sea on one side. But Coimbatore suburbs are poorly planned and have a lot of open drains, roads dug up randomly for public work, and see a lot of traffic during peak hours as people commute to the city or Avinashi Road for work. Utilities are good though, TN always delivers on that. But the city is growing very fast without vertical expansion like Chennai or Mumbai. It will soon become like Bangalore.
My wife's family is from Bhubaneswar, which is again not immune to rush hour traffic and pollution. It is growing rapidly and now a lot of CBD is dug up for Metro work. Apartments are coming up, but not many high rises. It is well planned though, and not densely crowded like Cuttack. But Cuttack is surrounded by rivers on 3 sides and is almost an island, so that's an excuse for it. -
What's your opinion
It's everywhere . Even women's World chess championship is not given much importance. -
My daughters are jealous they didn't think of this.
An adult thought of this joke and pretended their child did it to get more likes. -

That's why talent leaves India because India ultimately doesn't have anything to offer, had she played for other countries she would have been leading a much better life maybe. -

Our talent goes outside and invents . Rest of the people who remain are just filling chairs and sitting all day. Welcome to reservation. -
How are salaries really in Bangalore? And your expenses?
I work part-time as I have a mental illness. I freelance as a writer and graphic designer. I make about 4lpa. I got lucky inheriting the house I live in so I don't pay rent. I do have some additional expenses to accommodate my illness. I live alone and I live a very simple life. Travel once or twice a year to see friends and family. Go out rarely. Indulge in food once in a while. I'm broke, but I'm happy! -
The platonic relationship between Gangubai and Faizi is so Underrated, it was one of the most Beautiful aspects of Gangubai Kathiawadi !! Jim Sarbh hasn't received his appreciation !!
Credits for the platonic relationship go to the writer. The portrayal depends on the actor and director. All deserve appreciation. -

Swag.
I am kind of tired of all the political posts in this sub. Too many political trolls using this as their battle ground instead of discussing useful information. -

Honestly speaking it's everyone's hard earned money. The only reason I'm posting it is because whether we like it or not. Our jobs and businesses have kept us busy to ignore real problems. I waited for this election simply because I wanted to vote for my cause and development. But we all suffer indirectly because the majority of people are either bought or blinded by leaders.
Now everyone pays. The majority of people are afraid of medical treatments and school admissions because it's expensive. Our basic needs are not fulfilled by the govt. Why should we be suffering every 5 years? A person doesn't get a proper certificate or experience in industry and they are not qualified for the job. Why are we not raising our standards from govt? Taxes on popcorn! Do we need it? Why are we ignoring that basics are not met, youth is unemployed, people are not getting legal help, we are not getting the ROI of our time spent in our nation. If we all are nation builders then the higher ups need to grow up as well. -

That is pretty funny. It's also sad that we live in a world where 11 year old girls are making gallows humor jokes about losing their civil rights.
