Is NE culture dying/diluting? If yes, what are the reasons? I am specifically interested in the answers from Arunachal, Tripura and Nagaland. What can be done to prevent such changes?

How to deal with Kochi Auto Chettans- Just taking the photo of the auto helped me get the ride
I had a bad experience with a Kochi auto Chettan. They are so rude. I was kind of new in Kochi. Didn’t know the bus routes so well. I had to go from Kakkanad Infopark area to Kadavantara. I approached the auto stand and asked the first auto guy there. He was an older man with a beard and all. He quoted his price. I was already sitting inside the auto by then. I just repeated the price that he quoted (don’t remember exactly, but it was 250 or 350). And immediately he got angry and started to stay things like ‘if you can’t pay that much, there is a bus stand over there. You can go by bus’. I mean, who the fuck is he to tell me that? So I simply asked him whether he can go or not. He said no. So I got out and asked the other drivers at the stand if they could go. None of the assholes would go. I wish I had taken a picture of him and his auto and reported it. It still makes me angry to this day, the way he behaved. -
Udta hua farishta
As a former smoker (7 year quit) this bought a cheer and fear. Genuinely being through a stage like this described, I burnt a newspaper on the gas stove and run outside to the yard to light your damn cigarette. It's one of the worst addiction and easiest to quit. -

Brother in law got scammed out of a lot of money. Is there anything he can do?
The money is long gone, but worse, your brothers troubles are not over yet.
There are two things to look out for right away:
1. This is a 'pig-butchering' scam and often involves someone they know irl or met via internet (often dating apps). Make sure your brother breaks off contact with this middle-man person completely. Follow-up scams that promise to 'retrieve' the money for a fee are really common.
2. The screenshots tell me your brother is in debt. It is important to manage and contain this quickly, to prevent it spiraling into something he can no longer pay off.
On the long term, keep an eye out for his mental health. Things like this can make people do strange things. Things they will later regret. -

Help me build an email list
I totally get where you're coming from. I've been down this road myself trying to find a good fit for B2B connections. LinkedIn’s advanced search is pretty handy for this. You can filter by company size, industry, and even job titles. They have a sales navigator tool, too, which is worth checking out if you haven’t already. It's not free, but it can really narrow down your search and save time. Also, groups on LinkedIn related to your industry might be another spot to check out. It’s like a direct line to potential customers or partners, and people in groups are often more receptive cause they’re there for the networking.
I remember using a tool called Hunter.io — it helps you find email addresses associated with domains or individuals, especially if you’re trying to reach company representatives. It’s pretty reliable, though sometimes you gotta go through a bit of trial and error. Apollo.io is another one that’s awesome for building lists based on your specific criteria. I used it with a colleague once for targeting logistics companies, and we got some solid leads.
It can feel manual, and it’s kind of a mix and match until you get this rhythm going. One way I coped with the manual aspect was setting aside dedicated research time each week. Like, making it a part of your schedule so it doesn’t feel overwhelming. Honestly, getting that exact match often requires a personal touch, since every tool has its limits. Sometimes, those personal touches, like reaching out with a personalized message on LinkedIn, can make all the difference in making a connection that leads somewhere. -
GOP Pushes Bill to Stop Student Loan Forgiveness Ever Happening Again
I’m not a student or a borrower. I’d still vote for shit like this. I don’t have children in school, I’d vote for free lunches too.
I don’t get why people are so hateful. This will help tons of people get back on track. I don’t care if taxpayers fund it. It’s better than missiles and tanks.
They will stand here and tell us we can buy jets and tanks that are tests that cost million on millions. We can’t fix student loans though. It costs too much.
They have money for wars but can’t feed the poor. -Tupac

Punjabi nationalism has died
We need to ask first, why did the gurus have to take up arms? What were they fighting against?
It was oppression, forced conversions and persecution by Muslim Mughals on native (Sikh, hindu, jain, Budh) religions of India that made gurus take up arms.
Gurus had to fight for their life and dharma.
Sahibzade gave up their life rather than convert to islam.
During those days, it became a common practice in the Dharmic families (hindu, sikh, jain, budh) to make their elder son a Sikh (warrior/protector of dharma), so that they can contribute to guru's fight of saving dharma.
Native religions lived peacefully for centuries (yes, they had some minor fights among each other) but they never fought each other on the basis of religious beliefs.
Recent punjabi nationalism that we see especially on the eastern side is completely hollow and artificial. On ground no one roots for a separate sikh state/country.
Yes, you might have differences with the government, that's fine. Even families have quarrels among siblings but we don't want to kill each other or covert each other. We don't have a mindset of eradicating dharm (Hindu/sikh/jain/budh).
We might look at our problems a different way but our end goals are the same. Benefit of people.
And I think Punjab's current biggest problem is economy. It was a power house but anymore. We need to bring back money to punjab and make the area prosperous again. -

Does no one else see that he is absolutely not reformed and actually thinks it’s a joke!!
