Cybersecurity is a huge problem for small and large companies alike. Smaller might even be more affected, because if something bad happens they could be wiped out.

The question is how to convey that message. You could play on their fears, that'd be the doom approach. But maybe there are better approaches. For example, I'd guess that most small companies simply lack the expertise and knowledge to have better security and fear that it'd be very costly for them to do so. If you can convince them that it does not have to be extremely costly if they know the right "recipe", then maybe they'd be willing to listen.

In general, finding the right way how to nudge clients is what's so hard about marketing and sales. You have to understand their thinking and their problems before they can even consciously phrase them.

And go one to show the difference: "*others might replicate the tech, but they can’t copy my execution or my market understanding or the relationships I have built with users. As an algo trader, my system takes lots of small, automated trades. Portfolio management determines if a trade is allowed to start. It keeps risk per trade very, very low. As in < 0.1% of capital. Risk is lowered even more based on market conditions if needed. Initial stop + risk per trade determines the position size. Liquidity of an asset is taken into account for position sizing as well. Stops are raised based on market conditions too.
