You could perform the arti using a flower instead of a lit wick. Either hold the flower in your right hand or place it in a diya you’d use for a regular arti, and perform arti as normal considering the flower to be a flame.

I think OP is trying to say air is available everywhere so why claim it as free.
What OP forgot is "air pressure". Air cannot be pumped in at normal atmospheric pressure. Air is compressed to higher pressures then get pumped into tyres thru certain equipment to give air in your tyre.

So the petrol pump has invested in these equipment, maintaining them, have an employee with salary but don't charge you officially anything. Tip is at your discretion.
