Absolutely go to a vet for shots. Cats are also at risk for rabies and other diseases. The TN Vet hospital in Periamet is very reasonably priced. I would also advise getting your cat sterilised at about 3 months. Trust me, you do not want to be around a female cat on heat.

I am considering Jimny as my second car primarily due to it's 4x4 drive train and compact size as compared to other 4x4 cars. I hate big cars but I also love the ability to just push the pedal slightly and overtake that huge truck blocking my view. Does it feel underpowered in such scenarios specially on state higheays where overtakes at 90+ are necessary?

I drove from Chetpet to the Sai Baba temple in Mylapore yesterday. The road conditions in Mylapore left me with no words to express my grief. The roads are so dangerously carved out. No warning boards or barricades. I was just imaging what would happen if it rained heavily and these roads got covered with rain water. No one would even know where they are going and chances of death is nearly 70%. Looks like the ongoing metro work has just become another reasons for the government to not provide us with decent roads even in 2025. Very sad to see the infrastructure of Chennai.
