Semrush shows traffic as per the average position of keywords and average ctr as per the average position but in reality for certain keywords where serp noise is high (ads, paa section and yt video takes up half the space) the ctr is low even if you are ranking in top 3 regardless of the volume.

- Example: estimate search volume 50k
- Site ranks on #2 average healthy ctr semrush takes into account is 13.09 % (source: https:// www. advancedwebranking. com /free-seo-tools/google-organic-ctr)
- It gets around 6545 clicks each month

But serp is full of ads ai overview and paa section ranks above the first organic result. The ctr is quite low obviously for the 2nd ranked page. Which ultimately means low clicks in real compared to assumed traffic.

The same thing for other keywords.

Check GSC for real organic traffic stats. GA is not a good measure either
