Not electing a Speaker is a crisis in and of itself, but I doubt it hampers certification.

The Speaker doesn't have a Constitutional role in certification, and I doubt there are going to be concrete roadblocks to proceedings that can't be avoided.

Let me clarify the CBO report issued same day as the CR. They just looked at the CR. The 2021 report is completely different. Issue is that not filing is a misdemeanor but making a false tax return is a felony. So over time a number of high earners talking 400k and over have just not filed any tax returns.

IRS has hired experts with additional funds who can figure out the the who and the how that the individual uses via tax lawyers to make it appear they had no income to report, which is another issue entirely then just not filing.

India has a huge muslim population . Nothing is going to happen if you have a beard . I have a beard and nobody mistakes me for a muslim , or they do and I don't know it . Either way , it doesn't affect day to day life here that much .

Simple. There's a certain age you reach, a certain threshold where you stop caring about what others think or try to project on to you. People hate us already, but they hate us even more when we reach this mentality. Why must we cater for people that already don't like us, and most probably never did? We don't have anything to prove; we just want to sit at home, play our games or whatever keeps us interested, not bother with the outside world and that's it.

Chauffeured car is a must, and fees paid for a good private school that does IB as yoy won't be putting yoyr kids in Indian public school. A family member worked for Shell and they sorted a nice house and also he had the option to have them pay for a cleaner/maid or other service staff (home cooks are quite popular, someone who will pop in twice or three times a day and cook a hot meal for the family). Very common in India, and a good way to spread your wealth a bit to underprivileged. My family ended up with a maid who cleaned and tidied and did laundry and they paid her well, and also paid to put her kid through school for her. They were very sad when they left as she had become a part of the family.
