Movies, TV Series and Media in general are tools used to establish certain values and ideas.

The cinema in 'Chhava' has been used to convey a message and the message is this - Shambhu Raje was a WARRIOR and a Proud Hindu. He faced DEATH bravely and never accepted a foreign religion even after receiving HATE in form of brutal torture.

Same was with the movie Padmavat. This movie highlights the brave tradition of JAUHAR during the time of Islamic invasions.

Other examples are Mughal-e-Azam, Jodha-Akbar, etc. These were used as a tool to create a psyche to legitimize foreign rule over us.

And people will try to make there created cinema look grade for profit purposes anyway.

And please people read History books if you want to learn. Don't solely rely on Cinema.

Centre will never allow Punjab to flourish. 70+ years still no basic infrastructure i.e. proper airports, commercial rail, roads etc. Allowing special economic zones around punjab which pull industry out of the state. Let's not forget the bureaucracy around foreign investment. Also the fact punjab has no control over its resources which allows the centre to exploit it without any compensation. Union territories like chandigarh act as funnel of wealth out of the state. The economic model employed on the state is no different than what the British did with its colonies exploit them for its resources while not allowing infrastructure for other industries to be created. This idea punjabis don't pursue education and such careers is false because if you look at punjabis who leave punjab you will see them in various professions. problem with pursuing such education in punjab is there isn't any opportunity after receiving all that education. Before people go on and start blaming sikhs/ Khalistanis don't forget the GOVERNMENT is the one that spent a decade killing hundreds of thousands of young educated sikhs causing many more wealthy and educated to leave, this is evident when you see how far these groups have progressed abroad.
