Karmic tie giving someone money
I don’t entirely want it back but that’s where I’m conflicted, I would prefer if he pays me back just so he doesn’t have any “debt” left to settle, nothing to owe anyone. But I feel like he won’t so I have to accept that, so I’m okay thinking of it almost like it was a donation.
Would that somehow affect me in anyway? -

Indian women, be honest—why do kind, introverted guys get ignored while toxic men get all the attention?
I'm a dude so I won't try to answer the question on behalf of (Indian) women, but as someone on the other side, i.e. as a "kind, introverted guy". I'm a little bit older than you (24) and have occasionally gotten approached/asked out by women and dated a few.
First of all, as someone else commented, your post seems like it belongs in r/niceguys. I'm not saying you're one of them, since you mentioned you're here to learn and I trust that you're asking this in good faith. I still advice you to check out that sub so that you learn not to fall into the[ red pill ](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manosphere)rabbit hole.
Second, falling for toxic people isn't a women-specific problem. We men are as susceptible to falling for toxic women as the other way around. It's just that most of us don't end up with those toxic women because luckily, men get rejected a lot more by women than vice-versa. However, it does happen and I've personally known a couple of decent guys who were stuck in toxic relationships.
Now, the question may arise – why do good people end up falling for toxic people? I've heard a very poignant quote about this somewhere – 'When you look at someone with rose-coloured glasses, all red flags just look like flags'. We're mesmerized by them based on looks, confidence, intellect or charm and we ignore everything that's visibly problematic about them. We create a perfect version of that person in our minds and convince ourselves that the version in our minds is their true self and their toxic actions in real life are anomalies (or that they don't matter).
To reiterate, both men and women are victims as well as guilty of this behaviour (Good men falling for bad women, good women falling for bad men). If you still want a gender-specific reason, I can give you one. There have been studies done by dating apps that made people rank other people based on attractiveness. The study found that men were more likely to find a large percentage of women attractive while women mostly found only about 10-20% of men attractive. I'm not gonna go into the "why" aspect of this study as that's not the point I'm getting at. Anyway, since this top 5-10% of men get a bucket load of attention from women, their egos get inflated so much that they sort of become... toxic jerks.
So, this brings me to the conclusion. Knowing all this information, what can you do as a man? There's no simple, secret formula that can turn you into a playboy, but you can improve aspects of yourself (for yourself, primarily) that may result in women being more interested in you:
1. If you're attractive, that's a plus. If you're not, work on yourself physically and mentally.
2. Cultivate a personality based on varied interests – books, sports, niche hobbies, etc.
3. Take care of your fashion game – Clothes that fit, hair care, skin care, etc.
4. Try to have more female friends in your social circle; it can give you new perspectives into the lives of women and make you more empathetic to their struggles. At the same time, you'll realize that they're not perfect angels either and you'll learn not to put them on a pedestal. Case in point - The girl who told you that you're not the kinda guy to get girls.
5. Don't be desperate for female attention/validation. Most women have seen it before in other guys and can sense it easily. It's unattractive.
At 21, you've just started your proper adulthood, OP. There's a Latin phrase – Tempus Ager Meus (Time is my estate). Use the time you have to grow and meet women who are right for you. Good luck! -
