Similar incident happened with me I had booked an Ola auto ; confirmed with him if he is going to come and pick me up! The driver said yes! He asked me the location , I told him now he starts insisting to cancel the ride and go by meter! I said no.. he told me the Sion bridge is under construction so auto can’t go.. I told him I know an alternative road … he didn’t listen to me insisting I’ll only use the way told by Google maps which was sion bridge now this guy stopped the auto as post Sion auto can’t go ! And started shouting that I should now go by meter if I have to go to my location , but I should do my old payment.. now he started abusing and saying I’ll call my union I got little scared and gave him the money and took another auto to home! The Ola app is really useless you can’t complaint anything! And all this fiasco was happening post 10:30 pm! Ola customer care is more useless functions only 9 to 6!
