Irrespective of the gender, looks do matter in any instance as they be the first non verbal communication where the other person tends to see how presentable are you. People might not agree with this but can't deny that this actually happens! Let's understand this with a hypothetical situation where you're in a restaurant for the first time and you have no idea of what kinda food they serve or how would it taste, in such scenario your basic instinct would be to look what's most appealing and looks good in terms of presentation if the menu got pictures of the food served there. personally idk if it gets me more attention because i have dark skinned friends and they have bfs or talking to boys but one thing I can say is ppl don't make fun of you as often or at least infront of you. I have seen boys make jokes about girls being dark skinned while I have received compliments from boys for being fair in general.

There are just so many people in our country, you are always replaceable, if you want a good amount of money, work more, because someone else will. I am not a workaholic or a fan of some billionaire, this is just my observation. So as a very lazy person, i have come to terms with the fact that i won't be getting very rich, better to learn to adjust with a little less in your pocket.
