I've done all of this alone. I also visited a religious place alone where everyone else was with their families.

When there is something that I really want to do, I don't want to go through the hassle of asking anyone if they wanna tag along and adjust according to their requirements. It just puts me off and I may end up dropping the plan. Might as well do it alone.

Ho OP was in a bit of the same rut last year. Try to make friends is what I would suggest. Doesn't have to be talk your heart out type of friends. Maybe just a commute friend or chai break friend.
