Religious Hindus don't consume beef. Some Hindus do as they're non religious. Religion comes by birth. And then when one becomes an adult, makes his/her own choices. Hindu religion has been always unprejudiced. Unlike many other religions which are not. That's all.

It totally depends on perception and values. No harm in going for the flat if you are okay.
I would not have chosen it because i am a superstitious person. It depends on person to person.

My experience from today:

1. Parking at GKVK is deserted - saw a few vehicles parked but no BMTC shuttle. Possibly due to today being a "business" day.

2. There's nice spot if you wish to do plane spotting/watch the airshow without paying for the ticket: [At the lake](https://maps.app.goo.gl/t63JBu8QkrHJ5nit7). Found this as I was hunting for the designated parking (did not have a parking pass for today)

3. Even though today was a business day, there was a crowd to get into the Su 57 cockpit... I didn't want to wait that long. Will try again tomorrow.

4. The exhibition is good.

5. Limited food options - there's only one food court that I could find that seemed reasonable that was open for the general public - the others are run by Ritz/Taj (3K for a buffet lunch) . Avoid the food truck though - gave out stale food that I returned.

6. Carry a waterbottle, sunscreen, sunglasses and a cap! Though the ticket says bags not allowed, I saw people carrying bags, and I was able to enter with a power bank in my pocket. They do frisk you but it's not like you're going in to board an airplane. So anything reasonable should be ok. YMMV.

Sabki baari aayegi. I'll unapologetically laugh with glee at these vile, crass, and ignorant imbeciles downfall; be it Samay, Ranveer, Elvish, Rajat, and all their ilks. Their downfall is long overdue.

The problem with indian justice system is that they show sympathy for rapists and murderers by giving them life long imprisonment,life long imprisonment is for HUMAN BEINGS, not for rapists/murderers, anybody who rapes or murders someone should be hanged to death,simple as that no jail, no life imprisonment nothing direct death,they don't deserve to live ,and if there is literally direct evidence they should be shot dead by the police or the victims family,no need for justice system to interfere if there is direct evidence like cctv footage,just kill these people

I’ll be very honest about my experience.

I was in the startup scene for 6 years in Tampa and Orlando. I grew up in St Pete. I worked for 3 early stage VC companies. One profitable. All less than 25 people.

I left for California.

COVID was pretty eye opening for me on the culture and types of people who really love Florida. The beaches are beautiful, but the undercurrent of ignorance, racism, and “anti-wokeness” of politics there is kind of inescapable at this point. Even in the business community.

Sending your kids to schools that ban books, fight masks and vaccines, and tell gay teachers they can’t be themselves in the classroom was a line too far for my family.

The state is also on a collision path with global warming and they’re not pumping the brakes.

That area is not built for Cat 5 hurricanes. Homes and businesses disappear when big storms hit. My best friend just lost his house in the last big hurricane in downtown St Pete. And my childhood high school is gone because it’s in a flood zone.

The low taxes make it easy to start businesses. But as a result, I found many startups weren’t actually good ideas. They just lasted longer because of easier business climates. So many crypto startups, healthcare schemes, and real estate adjacent companies.

I know plenty of awesome people in Florida. And 0% income tax is incredible if you’re trying to save. But to really grow a business like a unicorn startup, you need access to top talent. And those people are mostly in San Francisco, LA, or New York.

I don’t know what your business is. Maybe Florida is a great place for it. But if you’re trying to make a business that’s really moving the needle, Florida isn’t going to help you.

That’s just my 2 cents.

Go visit for a week in the summer and see if it’s your thing.
