The MAIN point of protest is to see and to show SOLIDARITY.

We’re actually particularly curious what you guys recommend for person X because that seems to be the most unusual situation.

Your understanding of Karma and I would argue that this is the case with a lot of people is flawed. Karma is not some divine retribution against sinners. It is simply a framework which acknowledges cause and effect. Scientifically it is very similar to the butterfly effect, the only caveat being that it's applied on social systems and networks.

Now how Karma works is that any action performed by a person has a consequence. That's all. The consequence that follow depends on the kind of actions. And one consequence leads to further actions and consequences creating a chain reaction.

For eg: When we talk about people like dawood ibrahim doing evil things and causing death and destruction, these actions have consequences. What these actions do is that it gives like-minded subordinates an inspiration to follow his footsteps. They would then further in future do the same evil things that dawood did creating an ecosystem for bad behaviour.

In the grand scheme this disallows people to have any spiritual growth, as this ecosystem makes the conditioned people ineligible to purify their mind.
