I have never clicked through to a PH page and doubt I ever will. These people post products which aren't targeted at business owners or startup founders. If they are that thoroughly clueless how on-target is the McGuffin. Businesspeople don't owe you votes, likes, subscriptions, nor is anyone's sole purpose in life to celebrate your 'journey' to wantrepreneurship. Objections abound. Actuality indicts.

People see any large number of users -- their brains leak right out of their ears -- then they spam. It isn't business with PH users -- it's a lottery ticket. Hardly anybody clicks through. Fewer subscribe. Leaving precious few to possibly convert into customers come wantrepreneur christmas -- monetization day -- when the capitalism fairy turns you into a real business just because you show up in a browser.

They aren't actually products on PH, just pathetic begging for support. Product Hunt doesn't so much showcase new products as it acts as a lame excuse to crap something out and reveal the very worst in inventor's syndrome and startup culture ... with the emphasis on *cult*. Congratulations Product Hunt: you invented something equal in blundering obliviousness to Multi Level Marketing.
