Well i wore my wedding red blouse and dupatta with a plain red lehenga to my cousins wedding.. i paired with a gold choker and a long necklace a watch and 3 bangles in other hand. No maang tika, no chuda!! kept my hair simple and minimal makeup!! My lehenga is 8 years old!!!
My point is you can and should repurpose your wedding clothes as you have spent so much on it!!! but just be mindful in how you style it… and wearing red colour isn’t a problem in Indian weddings as every other person wears mithe colours or in my language we also call them marwadi colours like red pink purple orange green all in the dark shades..
