Just didn't see a future there and moved a decade ago. Now after living here for for so long, I know for a fact I just cannot adapt if I were to return. So basically gave up on voluntarily trying to come back. My only binding with the country or chennai is my parents. Other than them, not really close with too many family members so no friends and family baggage for me personally. All I can say is it's a one way street. The longer u spend abroad, the more difficult it is to come back and re adjust hence why you see so many desis abroad preach about India's greatness but never indulge in actionable tasks to return back home. U do you but for me i don't see any future in that country in terms of quality of life or wellbeing of raising a family and hence this decision. Individual circumstances may vary but u have one life and u need to take the best decisions for the outcomes u seek

I graduated in 2022. I’ve only hung out with my group of 8 friends from college and 2 people from the city I grew up in since then. I honestly don’t need any new friends and my college boys all I need! We all recently went on a Europe tour as well! Just gotta find the right people and just keep them for your whole life. Don’t know what I’d do without them tbh. Forever grateful!
