I think one thing that works in hinduism favour is its, guru parampara.
Where, for general people, scriptures are not read and intpreated directly, but is consumed through a guru.
Who evolve the tradition, and philosophy with time. The whole literary collection even right now, has been spread across different centuries.
Eg, We have had 5 main Jagadgurus who put forward their complete phosphosites, with their own interpretation with time. ((**Adi Shankaracharya**: **Ramanujacharya: Nimbarkacharya**: **Madhvacharya**: **Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj ))**

Also, we hinduism has had, saints like.
Tulsidas, Suur, Mira, Kabi, nanak, Tukaram etc.
Recent major accepted avatars like, Gauranga Mahaprabhu.

So, the dynamic tradition, where saints as gurus, or avatars coming on themself as long as it accepted.
It will keep evolving, and with culture, place and time, be adjusted.
