It ranks 10th the merchandise export with $11.7 billion of export (and has been maintaining an average). I tend to agree with my Dad in saying we are all Punjabi, atleast all natives (non-immigrants, inclduing in chandigardh) we have similar militant genetics. Punjabi isn't 1 language, even our brothers on the other side of the border speak "punjabi" and we all roughly understand each other.

However, and maybe this is just human nature and not history, people tend to highlight their differences more than their similarities.

Hyrana and Punjab, even Himchal in some ways, are like brothers separated at birth that by reason of separation, taught to hate and resent each other, atleast sometimes it feels like that.

As an aside, there's a netflix show called "black warrant" where a hyranvi says other Indians aren't built like Punjabis and Hyranvis (for tough job) implying a shared culture and way of conducting yourself.
