    Your investors probably didn’t intend to see their investment money going to pay personal expenses or bonuses.

    IMO it is a huge abuse of trust. Maybe there is a way to justify some things, like if the Visa enables your co-founder to be more effective due to being able to stay in the US, that can be framed as also benefiting the company.

    But I don’t know your guys situation, maybe it doesn’t benefit the company enough to justify the cost.

    The guiding principle should be to do what is best for the company. It sounds like you each are thinking at least a bit about your own interests first.

    Worry less about what is fair between you two and instead what is best for the business.
