I know the Flipkart delivery guy quite well since he’s the only one who delivers all the time. So, last time when I ordered two phones and an iPad, I set up a tripod, recorded the unboxing, checked if the phone was functioning properly, and only then provided the OTP while he was sitting (offered him tea while he was waiting).

So yeah, it all depends on how deliveries work in your locality. Even though I now live in a city, I still order expensive items to my hometown for peace of mind.
