did you just compare sachin to these below average bowlers? the reason we did not win so many matches in sachin's era as we do now is coz bowlers didn't have ability to take 20 wickets, while sachin was often the lone warrior. I remember in early 2000s we only used to watch Indian batting coz bowling was not worth watching, while many a times we watched pakistan's bowling coz that was something entertaining, not the 130kmph munaf patel's and rp singh's. Now everyone puts immense repect not only on bumrah but shami and ashwin too. He retired coz there are only 2 home tests in 2025, which he isn't a guaranteed starter now after the arrival of washington.

Also he hinted at playing county so maybe he wants to play more and not sit on bench for the entire 2025.

I'll agree more respect needs to be put on ashwin-jadeja's name but we all know rohit-kohli bring a lot of brand value for bcci which these 2 do not and it's a business for them in the end
