So you'll have to find a balance, put yourself out there, see what works and customize it to your personality. You can't expect to strike up a conversation with someone and find what you're looking for immediately. Takes time to develop a bond and figure out how that person is. And don't bother with asking if they're married, single, in a relationship etc. I see some other person commented that. Girls will talk to you if they find you interesting enough you don't have to figure out their relationship status. There's no restriction in just having a conversation with someone.
