These are just bot accounts, the whole purpose of bots is to spread hate and disinformation. Most of these bots are Russian or Chinese.

I wouldn't be worried about what a nameless, faceless bot account says. Just report them and move on.

The average Canadian or American wouldn't make the spelling mistake found in the image you've shared. You have to be pretty stupid to spell "allowed" as "aloud".

If you ever see an account that has a name and then a bunch of numbers like "Johnny2304948" that's a bot no normal person would have that as an Instagram name. I bet if you clicked on the account it probably has 5 followers and they're following 200. 

Also Canada in particular has always been quietly racist. The ire of the average white Canadian was usually directed at other minorities like black people, Muslims, and the Chinese.

I remember around 2015 Islamophobia in Canada rose both online and in real life. A few mosque were attacked like this one

At the time the Canadian government let in thousands of Syrian and Afghan refugees. This made white people mad.

Canada has always been racist against the Chinese or those that look east Asian. You can read about Japanese internment camps and the railway racism of the 1800's. The racism against HongKongers went they fled Hong Kong for Vancouver after Hong Kong was handed to China. People called Vancouver "Hongcouver" for a decade because they hated it. Even throughout the 2010's all you ever heard was people saying slurs against the Chinese for buying all the property and artificially raising the price of housing. It happened in Australia too, cities like Melbourne introduced special legislation to curb Chinese buyers from China. During Covid anti-Asian racism was at a fever pitch, random assaults against Asian Women and the elderly were at an all time high and only went down fairly recently.

Canadians have always racist against balck people, it hasn't helped that most of the major car theft rings in eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec) are run by Africans and hundreds of stolen Canadian car end up is west Africa. The black lives matter protest movement was fairly large in Canada due to the history of the country.

Us Punjabi/ Sikhs/ Indians have had a pretty good go of it for a long time. I just see it as our turn to be hated. Even with the Racism growing in Canada against us our Gurdwaras haven't been attacked, our elderly are safe, our women are safe, our children are safe. 


There haven't been any random assaults like we saw happen to Asians. The hate seems to be purely online. It doesn't reflect reality on the ground.

Nagpur is definitely on the path, as Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad are already being saturated, cities like Nagpur would start serving, may be not now, may be 10 years, who knows?
