Shahid's a genuinely good artist, talented at acting, and though I won't rank him in a list, I think we all know that if it's a good project, he can elevate it easily. But it's been known about Shahid that his career has constantly been in a state of flux and that his choice in projects have always brought him down.

After Jab We Met, his choices in films were, by order: Kismat Konnection (2008), Kaminey (2009), Dil Bole Hadippa! (2010), Chance Pe Dance (2010), Paathshaala (2010), Badmaash Company (2010), and so on. The next commercial successes after Jab We Met were Kaminey and Badmaash Company (BOI says "Average" for both, oops).
