People are well aware that even if 99 votes go to NOTA and 1 vote to any candidate then the candidate will win. It's not about that
It's about the statement that we are not willing to vote for any candidate because All of them are not deserving of my vote or the position. And hoping that if the vote on NOTA will increase the chances for any change in getting rational and non-criminal political leaders who will be competent enough.

NOTA was introduced because people were not going for voting stating that they don't want to vote for any political party.
And hence there was an option given to exercise your right to vote and not give your vote to any party/candidate either.
