Padmavat hands down, it's one of the most difficult roles in mainstream Bollywood, and Ranveer killed it. Khilji is someone from history who is a clear-cut villian in the popular imagination, to play that role with a swagger and making it a total win is sometimes else!. Ranveer balanced the dramatic flair, the intensity, the villainy, the mawkish sentimentality, enigma and even the caricaturish signature of the character with such fantastic flair. Ranveer is really talented, way more talented than the rest of them. It's so sad that his script selection recently is such a fail.
