Been there done that lol. It doesn't help that I run cold. I live in the mountains in a far-away room with poorly-insulated walls. It feels like it gets down to 40f-ish (5 celsius) degrees in this room during the winter, where it's often 10f-20f outside. Despite this, I had no good blankets or warm clothing until I finally escaped being a NEET, although I still live at home.

The cold was definitely a reason why I was so much more overweight as a NEET than I am now. It was the only way to stay warm back then. Now I have a huge comforter and some warm pajamas and can get away with weighing 50+ lbs less. Even now, though, I'm a bit afraid to let myself get too skinny until I don't have to live in this horrendous room anymore.
