There were few instances where I (and my friend) were denied house for not being christian. Those are ran by missionaries so they don't allow if u r not christian. I was like you, bored all day with no hobbies or activities and just laid in bed. Suicidal 24/7. I definitely don’t think it’s my natural brain and the medicine has aided in turning me into this bookworm zombie, but yes now I’m not constantly weighed down by suicidal ideation because I’m thinking about another world. It’s the most absorbing hobby you can do, for free. If you’re American, download Libby and sign up for a Library card online through your county. You can check out ebooks for free through libby. Can read them with a kindle too if you have one. My only hobby really!
