Yes I write it down. I have a notebook though, post its can get untidy and lost in their own sea. 

Two minute rule sometimes becomes five but the idea is the same: if it’s relatively quick do it and move on. 

Rolling to do list, one note and excel can easily imbed links to documentation, file pathways to photos, etc. 

After a certain point of volume there is some traffic directing that needs to be done. Teach the person to help themself where they can (and refuse to enable willful ignorance). Redirect them to a better person for the task.   And sometimes, yes that mountain really belongs on your desk. But remember that just because someone comes to you, you may not be the right or best person to do it. 

Batch tasks where you can, contest switching is the bane of our brains and deep work. If you can deal with project x at one go, or product y for a couple of hours, and avoid that switching, it’s a win. Batching leads me to favor the Excel to do list, with One Note being very searchable for more details. You can add a column for energy level, est duration, project, program, factory, whatever.  Sort by batch category, run. 

Directing traffic also means closing your door. Setting specific “open hours” for help/support. Reserving a conference room when you really need to dig in for that milestone and get things done, or WFH and sit at the local library (WeSpace, etc) so you’re distraction free. Putting a bit up that says “please don’t disturb, working to finish a project, I will be available at 2”

If your short term memory issues are like mine, once my info is primed and loaded I’m good to go. Takes some refreshing though. This makes working in time blocks more important, it decreases context switching. 

One job had short projects where I kept a quad sheet for each, and logged progress. Refreshing became looking at the sheet to retrace what’s been done and that usually jogged things enough to get me in context and running. Disc notebooks are great for this type of logging. One Note can work well too. 

Master content lists and or to do list to summarize really helps. It stinks to have to do the overhead but can be a sanity saver. 

So inter state postings cancel? Because there is no way someone will learn a new language every 3 years🤣

दुसऱ्या राज्यात चुकून जाण्याची वेळ येईल तेव्हा नक्की तिकडची भाषा शिकून घेऊ शकतो.
आपण एक गोष्ट लक्षात घेतली पाहिजे परप्रांतीय इथे येऊन उपकार नाही करत , केलेल्या कामाचा /सेवांचा ते मोबदला पण घेतात ,फुकट कोणी नाही काम करत.
काही परप्रांतीयांच्या 3-4 पिढ्या इथेच वाढल्यात तरीपण त्यांना मराठी येत नाही, शेवटी ते त्यांचा स्वार्थच पाहणार.

I have been struggling with Kidney stones for over a year now. In october, there was blood in my urine and I was in excruciating pain. Ruby hospital told me to get admitted, but a friend told me there's no need and to visit a urologist. That urologist charged 1000 rupees fee and prescribed meds over 2.5k. I went to my hometown and consulted another doctor. He suggested Hydrotherapy. Got admitted for 5 days and had hydrotherapy. There were 4 stones. The hydrotherapy got rid of them. Fast forward to december, I get a USG and find 4 stones again. But I wasn't in pain so I let it be. 2 days ago it again started paining. I went to a clininc and the doctor gave me an injection. But the pain persisted. So I went to another urologist who again gave me similar meds as the last one and prescribed a USG and charged 700. In the USG, 7 stones were found.

I don't think the meds are helping and no doctor has really tried to look for the root cause. A lot of people have told me that this rapid formation of stones is not normal.

Any suggestions??

Sounds like a good idea. Someone should make it into a business idea.

The problem with executing this idea is that they have to find a homosexual partner from the same state, religion, caste and sub-caste. Now, that is tough to filter.
