You are speaking my mind! It’s like some people think they’re lighting up a stadium instead of a city street. Blinding fellow drivers should be an Olympic sport at this point. Seriously though, low beam exists for a reason, and it’s not just for decoration. Hope this message reaches the ones who need it (but let’s be honest, they’re probably too busy dazzling the world with their high beams to read this). Stay safe out there!

Was there months back and the view of the rugged terrain around is eye pleasing.

When I was a kid I saw my friend's dad abusing one of the maids daughter. Touching inappropriately. I never spoke out in the fear of loosing my friend. Later one day we we were all playing cricket and this female ( maybe 13-14 ) at that time went home crying from my friends place..when asked, my friend told us she must've broken something again and her dad punished her. This didn't sit well with me.

I went home and told my mother what happened and my mother being the sterotypical colony aunty went to their apartment and asked the girls mom what happened and she said she wasn't telling her. My mother asked her in a very strict voice and told her she'll get her family out of the apartment if she didn't tell the truth ( just to scare her obviously ) she blurted out everything about the abuser and for how long things were going on. It was one hell of a day. The watchmans whole family gathered and we're ready to kick ass. My friend's dad escaped but then police later caught him. ( Was released in two days because, money ). A week later my dad was talking about what happened with the girl and how we should be vigilant to which I shamelessly admitted I knew and I saw things happening to her once. My dad looked me straight in the eye and told him if I ever see something bad or someone being abused again I either have to stand up for them or bring that information to him and would really be disappointed in me if he finds out that I didn't do jack shit.

The disturbing secret here is that pdf got released in 2 days, he just paid them 15000. The police were talking about how the labour make these allegations on rich people and try to extort money. The poor girl never got any therapy. No counselling. Her mother for the next two years constantly abused her and how she was now a burden coz no one will marry her, how they have to pay a hefty dowry for someone to even consider marrying her. The worst? Apparently some of her relatives were talking about how this 13 year old lured the man into comitting those actions. DISTURBING AS FUCK!

The reason I hate driving at night on highways. You can do just fine with low beam, but all of these assholes with bright white LEDs and high beam? I just cannot take it. I don't know how and why the bright white LEDs are even legally allowed in this country.

The rich would find Mumbai utterly unacceptable. But the never have to interface with the bad sides of the city at all. They go from carpeted home to carpeted car to carpeted places of business or leisure and back. They are the only ones who leave their homes with white shoes and return with white shoes.


The middle class find Mumbai pretty unacceptable. But we are SO busy in our lives that we really can't do much about it. I've literally seen people see a struggling animal, take a glance, and then just continue walking towards presumably their workplace.


The poor find Mumbai to be pretty acceptable. Their homes are so bad and filthy that they have very low standards. They have the time to do something but don't know what to do. They also don't want things to change as long as BEST buses continue to charge 5 rupees per ticket.


I see NO hope for all of us. I only have some hope for myself. Hopefully I can climb out of the middle class and become rich enough to never have to interface with the bad parts of Mumbai shitty :)
