why are indian men so submissive and weak when the topic is of parents
I am an Indian man, and this is my perspective. As a man, I have a lot of responsibilities, and being the eldest son, it is my duty to keep my family intact. This includes not only my own family but also my partner’s family. As a man, I have to be a leader.
That being said, I know that even though my parents have done a lot for me, they are not perfect—because they are human, not gods. I have no complaints about that. Due to the generational gap, their parenting style is very different from ours. With the online world, we have access to more knowledge and learning than they did, so disagreements are inevitable. Sometimes, they may say hurtful things or behave in ways we don’t agree with.
When they make mistakes, I talk to them personally, not in front of others, because everyone has self-respect. I explain to them what is right and wrong. However, if they don’t understand or aren’t willing to change, I don’t stress over it. After all, theirs is the last generation with that mentality, and at this stage in life, it’s hard for them to change their thinking. Even if they do change or not, it won’t drastically impact the country’s progress or make us suddenly rich.
So, my approach is simple—tell them once, and if they don’t understand, just let them be. Let them stay peaceful and happy. After all, their part is done; it’s now up to us to carry our generation forward. -

What happened to this? I have only seen this bike once on the streets, and not many people seem to even talk about it or know it.
An owner here, torque is enough to spin the earth in the other direction, speedy enough to keep you entertained, the tyres and brakes are of super high quality and don't let you down. Downsides? No aura, parts take at least a month to arrive and another 15 days to install, but damn is it a good looking, comfortable and unique bike. Test ride it if you can, you can find one in a JAWA showroom. -

why are indian men so submissive and weak when the topic is of parents
I mean it’s probably a cultural thing, like we have been taught like Matha, pitha , guru , Devam (Mom, dad, teacher, god) and that you should always put parents before even your teacher and god, and in a culture where people have been told to blindly believe god and to put parents even above that most would feel an enormous amount of guilt over choosing their independence or themselves over their parents, but yeah it’s best to learn when you can that your parent are human too and not perfect and respecting them and disagreeing and standing your ground when you know they are wrong are two different things and best to be mindful of it -
