Just my two cents using hero pleasure..i have abused it like anything. Went 80 kmph before break in, drained it out of fuel multiple times, never did a service on time, dropped it multiple times, tyres worn out like anything. When i was using it mileage was around 30. After all these i gave it to my father. He got it repaired fully, now it is used gently, service done on time and it does give mileage of around 50..so yes it is all on how you use it.
