I have a much older uncle whose story is renowned in my family. He was diagnosed with polio as a child and his ability to walk was limited throughout his life despite receiving the vaccine in the 1950’s. He walked with difficulty and in crutches up to a girl who was 4 years older than him and told her in front of her friends that he would marry her one day. He wasn’t deterred by his disability. He married that girl, my aunt and he became a motivational speaker and traveled the world to talk about never letting a setback prevent you from achieving your dreams. Were he alive today he’d absolutely have a few choice words for RFK Jr and none of them would be kind. Fuck that man.

Good quality food with reasonable pricing. Please don’t make us pay for aesthetic while giving us average food. Trust me, if you have good food nobody will care about aesthetics. And I don’t get how cafes charge the same amount for desserts as they charge for food and drinks? I remember being a student and visiting cafes with my friends. It is sad that these days cafes have become “luxury” and not an everyday hangout spot for those kids.
