I have used both and given the use case you’ll have to decide cause both are fantastic. 1 use case - if you only want simple motovlog setup then go for the action5 cause you can use wired and wireless mic with it ( please don’t buy a gopro. the 13 is ok) and the clamps that mount the action 5 is also very easy to understand and in general it’s accessories are very affordable and reliable. 2 use case - if you are a already pro in motovloging or want new angles for you motovlog then go with the insta360 but I would suggest the X4 the latest, now here is some catch. You can take 360 pics but a normal pic wont look that good as it will limit it to only
12 MP and while recording if you want to use it as a gopro and a 360 then you need to keep it at the max resolution which will require a good and big V30 sd card. And keep in mind if you get the insta360 and damage it’s lenses then you won’t be able to get it repaired or change the lens. At the end I would go for the insta360
