Alright, I don’t know if people will scold me for this, but I removed everything from my mom’s phone. The only apps she has now are the dialer, contacts, messages, WhatsApp (for video calls), and Jio TV.

I set her favorite channels to just Sun TV and K TV, so when she goes to favorites, she has only two options. I also blocked everyone on her WhatsApp so she won’t be disturbed by unnecessary messages—just a good old-fashioned phone call is enough for her.

At 12 AM, her phone will switch to night mode, so no more TV; time to put her to sleep! At 7, it’ll go back to normal; for her own good!


I didn’t ask for permission because I know this is what’s best for her.

Edit: Play Store is still there, just hidden, and set to auto-update apps. Let my mom enjoy the latest tech updates—without even knowing it!
