Large construction projects to be completed on time should’ve a lot of things going for them: Land acquisition, fair tendering, alignment with government, Release of funds on time etc.

If there are any issues the government and the contractor should be able to resolve them immediately else the project will be delayed, leading to cost escalation. The government should be ready to put its step down and help complete these projects asap
