The home page of the website does not include anything about D2C marketing, what you do, your service, who you do work for, etc. The page title is just "Chromatic Labs, Inc", and the term d2c, or direct to consumer is not even on the page.

Ex: Instead of "Chromatic Labs, Inc" for the homepage title, write something that explains what you do and who you do it for. Something like: "Chromatic Labs, The Marketing Agency for D2C Brands".

Take this strategy into your onpage content as well - Use terms like D2C marketing, direct to consumer, AI marketing strategies, etc - so you'll have the opportunity to get in front of those who search for it.

Current heading: "The future of marketing is..." - change it to: "The future of D2C marketing is..."

That said - your website is really just a 1 single home page that does not provide much information about what you do, how you can help, who you help, etc, and your competitors who have been at it a while, have hundreds of pages of related content in the same space.

Before taking the blog route, I would revisit what you have for content and finish building a complete website to align your messaging to: Who you are, how to contact you, what you do (page), who you work for (page for each), how you do it, etc.

You Sir, don’t have a part numbering problem - you have a business management problem. Your department heads have built their little kingdoms, and after much past strife have settled on a system that works well enough - so don’t mess with it. There are two ways to change it - top down, or bottom up. Bottom up means you have to convince the lowest levels to convince the department heads to change. (That’s a lot of politicking and convincing) Top down : convince the CEO or COO ( or top guy) that there is a substantial business case ($$$$) in implementing a change to the system. You have to make it clear in terms of increased revenue, increased yields, and increased performance that changing the system is worth it.

Yes smart numbering is better, more efficient and results in higher thru-put. But your dinosaur department heads don’t see it that way. They personally built their system, they own it, and are proud of it - and it runs so well , that they like coming to work. My suggestion, let it be. Until you have enough clout to implement the change. Otherwise, you’re just asking for strife - and eventually will be asked to move on.
