You can use it if you just need it for basic tasks. Upgraded 4gb ram to 8gb and installed win11 on a new ssd on my i3 3rd gen laptop. The total cost of 1500 and it is working well enough now.

Same situation but now I realised it maybe because of what they went through. Just ignore it I have been doing the same.
