As an Interceptor 650 owner, I can confidently say it’s one of the best 650cc bikes you can get. It’s powerful not the fastest in the segment, but definitely fast enough. The real highlight is the torque; there’s something special about feeling this 200kg beast come to life. It’s hard to put into words, but it’s a unique and satisfying.
Before the Interceptor, I rode an Apache RTR 180. When I decided to switch to a retro-style bike, my first thought was the Classic 350. The test ride was enjoyable, but the bike felt too slow for my liking. I then considered the Continental GT 650 and rented it for a day. While the bike was impressive, its aggressive riding position left my wrists aching something I never experienced with the Apache, despite its sporty stance.
That’s when I found the Interceptor 650. It struck the perfect balance for me: retro styling, good speed, and a comfortable riding position. It’s a beautiful bike in every sense. The only downside is the mileage, but even that isn’t a deal-breaker ,it’s reasonable for what the bike offers.
