Best way to travel is by bus or train . Every 30mins there’s a bus to blr from suburban bus stand .

I do the same almost every other weekend , it can get stressful if u travel during peak hour traffic from blr . I usually catch an early morning bus or late night bus .
Train is always a good option as you can skip the Kengeri bus stand traffic and directly reach majestic and can catch metro from there.

Usually Monday mornings can get hectic as a lot of people come to mysore on weekends and go back to blr on Monday and it might get challenging for u to get a seat.

I usually prefer pre-booking bus or train so that I can travel hassle free
