    Stepped out at 12 and the weather was just perfect. Took an auto and along the way, there was a road block. The driver took a deviation, but didn’t fail to help everyone we passed by saying “Aa kade daari illa, guru.” Smiles were exchanged.
    I saw kids making paper boats, neighbours chatting at their gates, a grandpa holding out an umbrella for his wife, and the aroma of bajji, bonda, filter coffee, and even biryani filled the air at different points of my journey.
    Yes, the roads are slushy and it’s cold outside, but if you look closely, you’ll find love and warmth in little corners. Ide namma Bengaluru. I’m home.
