    This is quite a common thing. I'm a 2010 pass out, there was a company which had organised a placement drive in a college, and had sent invites to 100 candidates. Now those 100 candidates forwarded that invite to their friends, and on the day of the interview around 2500 people showed up.
    I cleared all the rounds, got an offer and rejected it as the place of work was way too far from where I lived.

  18. Solo visit to Amul diary in Anand possible/worth it?

    There are two factories in Anand. Both are open for public between 2pm and 4pm.
    One factory is near the Railway Station, it has a museum dedicated to Dr. Verghese Kurian and tour of butter and milk powder factory is given to visitors.
    The second factory is located on the outskirts of Anand on NH48. That is a chocolate factory, and a guided tour of the chocolate factory will be provided by Amul.
    Both factories are closed on public holidays. I don't think they are closed on weekends.
